Innate Trigger – To Journey or Explore
Their journey continued, a relentless pursuit of answers in the desolate expanse beyond the Grid. The man, accompanied by his loyal friend the dog he named ‘Friend,’ stumbled upon an abandoned lookout post. Perched on a high vantage point, it promised insights into the mysteries that surrounded them. The recent events made him wonder. The echoes of gunshots lingered in his mind, casting shadows over the vast wastelands that stretched endlessly before him. As he camped with ‘Friend,’ gazing at the night sky, questions arose like distant stars in the dark expanse. Thoughts of the recent encounters weighed heavily on his mind.
The cars, the gunshots it was undeniable evidence that he was not alone in the wastelands. Memories of the Grid resurfaced, the colossal continents-prisons left behind by those who chose freedom over confinement. He pondered the possibility of meeting kindred spirits on this odyssey, individuals who, like him, sought purpose beyond the dictates of rulers. But the realization also dawned that not everyone shared the same ideals.
The shots from the night before, the frantic chase questions danced in his mind, demanding answers. Who occupied those speeding cars, and what drove them to desperate lengths? Whats the purpose of that cylinder structure ? And what about that semi-circular building with that computer like device inside? In the vast expanse where freedom knew no bounds, why risk one’s life to escape? The Wastelands offered the freedom to chart one’s own course, unrestricted by rules and constraints. Yet, danger lurked in the uncertainty of encounters with those who might harbor hostile intentions.
The mysteries of the wastelands beckoned, and his relentless pursuit of answers extended beyond the physical landscape to the very essence of human nature in this uncharted realm. He must consider what is better, to continue the journey towards the city of his birth and upbringing and, upon reaching there, plan his future. Or, to turn back and further explore the cylinder with the mechanical sound and that other semi-circular structure with the peculiar computer inside?
