Among their boldest ventures yet is the development of portals blending advanced science with metaphysics and the paranormal. These dimensional gateways promise to connect the isolated megacities within the Grids, offering a new strategy for liberation. The first test comes with great risk. A resistance team in Megacity 3 of the East Asia Grid prepares to journey to Megacity 2 of the South Africa Grid. They will become the pioneers of inter-grid travel, using a newly activated portal to cross unimaginable distances and realities.
Clad in experimental gear and armed with determination, the team steps into the shimmering gateway, bracing for the unknown. As they emerge on the other side, the atmosphere feels heavier, the air humming with an unnatural resonance. Megacity 2 looms before them, a labyrinth of shadows and towering structures lit by eerie, pulsating lights. Echoes of distant, otherworldly sounds prick their nerves.
