Innate Trigger – Nomads and Wanderers of the Wastelands

Innate Trigger – Nomads and Wanderers of the Wastelands

The man journeyed through the desolate expanse beyond the Grid, accompanied by his loyal dog, Friend. Amid thoughts of gunshots and mysterious encounters, he stumbled upon an abandoned lookout post and a peculiar semi-circular building with computer-like controls. Meanwhile, Cipher, a nomadic leader of high-tech enthusiasts and scavengers, had recently fled from bandits. She had taken refuge in the very building the man now explored, unaware that their paths were about to intertwine. As the man camped with Friend, he was awakened by barking and saw two cars in a frantic chase. Gunfire erupted, and he took cover, unaware that Cipher was in the lead car, escaping her pursuers. She was the leader of a tribe-like gang of 500 nomads, a makeshift family of outcasts and scavengers who roamed the wastelands, thriving in the harsh environment left untouched by the Grids. The nomads, known for their resilience and unity, navigated treacherous terrains and defended themselves against countless perils. Their caravan-like convoy, a motley assortment of vehicles, moved freely through mountains, deserts, and coasts, reclaiming autonomy in a world gripped by control. They became legends, feared by some and admired by others. Days later, the man and Friend stumbled upon a peculiar sight: a convoy of cars and trucks roaring like beasts in the silence of the wastelands. Observing from a safe distance, he was intrigued by the caravan navigating the unforgiving terrain. The makeshift shelters and rugged vehicles were a testament to resilience. A sense of camaraderie stirred within him, yet wariness took root. He pondered whether to follow the convoy or head towards his birthplace. Trusting his instinct, he decided to follow the convoy, unaware that Cipher, the leader of the nomads, was about to become a central figure in his quest for freedom and understanding.
